I've seen the sights
I've shunned the lights
I've stumbled through
The cold, cold nights

I want to grow
I want to show
That I've learned how
To take the blow

I want to stand
I want to land
On both my feet
And take your hand


Boomerang, take me 'round again
I've been here many times before
I don't really think that I can
Handle just what you've got in store

Over and over comes this strain
You think by now 'twould be a bore
Each time anew I'm hit with pain
I just can't take it anymore

Again my heart and soul you drain
I'm ripped apart and out I pour
Please stop this pounding in my brain
It all leaves me feeling so sore

So let the speculation begin......
